OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the market of new cars in the North Caucasus Federal District by the results of July 2016 and it made a rating of the most popular models.

According to the survey, in the North Caucasus market the leader was changed. Now it is LADA Vesta - a new car of AVTOVAZ in July was sold in amount of 674 cars. In turn, the former leader -LADA Priora - dropped to the second place of ranking with 631 cars, which is less by 46% than a year ago. The top-three of leaders included also LADA Granta, which reached 494 units (-30.5%).

The fourth position was kept by Toyota Camry (344 units; -30%), which continues to hold the title of the best-selling foreign car in the North Caucasus. The top-five is closed by Hyundai Solaris, which was in demand in the amount of 312 cars (-29%). The top-10 of the North Caucasus Federal District market in the last month also included: LADA 4x4 (156 units; + 24%), Volkswagen Polo (149 units; -25%), KIA Rio (127 units; + 2.5%), LADA Largus (115 units; -4%) and LADA XRAY (61 units).

We also note that the market of new passenger cars in the North Caucasus Federal District by the end of July of 2016 was a little more than 4 thousand units, by showing a fall of 14%.
