OREANDA-NEWS. The assembly line of Ford Sollers plant in Naberezhnye Chelny produced the 10,000th subcompact crossover Ford EcoSport since the start of the production of model in December of 2014. Jubilee car became a front-drive car of Titanium series of new color Magnetic metallic, equipped with Russian petrol engine of 1.6 liters with a capacity of 122 hp combined with a 6-speed PowerShift automatic transmission. The car is equipped with electronic stability control, SYNC multimedia system with voice control and a winter package, informed the press service of Ford Sollers.

Recall that subcompact crossover Ford EcoSport has expanded the Russian off-road line of Ford in 2014, by strengthening the brand's presence in the fast-growing segment of the SUV. EcoSport is the first model, the production of which started at the modernized plant of Ford Sollers in Naberezhnye Chelny. The vehicle is produced at the company by a full cycle technology and it has a high share of localization. As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", from January of 2016 EcoSport cars are equipped as standard with engines of 1.6 liter Duratec 122 hp power, the production of which is adjusted on the new engine plant of Ford Sollers in Yelabuga. EcoSport Crossover of Russian production is exported now to the markets of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia.
