OREANDA-NEWS. Moscow Renault plant resumes partially the work after the traditional collective vacation, which was held on August 1st. As the agency "AUTOSTAT" was informed at the press service of Renault, there are adjustable work in accordance with the schedule, and the plant will start to work fully from the 22nd of August.

Recall that in April the plant "Renault Russia" launched a new all-wheel drive crossover Renault Kaptur, developed in the B0 platform specifically for the Russian market. Thus, at present time the company produces three models - Renault Kaptur, Duster and Nissan Terrano.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", for the first seven months of 2016 Russian dealers of Renault sold 61,173 cars – less by 9% compared to the last year. Best-selling brand is still Duster crossover - it was chosen by 26400 Russian buyers in the reporting period (+ 13.1%). Second place in the model range of Renault is occupied by Logan sedan with an indicator of 16331 sold cars (-32.1%). The top-three of best-sellers of brand is still occupied by a hatchback Sandero - In January-July there were sold 15552 cars (-5.6%). Also we should add that sales of the new all-wheel drive crossover Renault Kaptur, which started on June 15th, at the end of July reached 1973 cars.
