OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Renault dealers in July sold 9132 cars - a 7.9% decrease compared to the previous year. As a result, Renault ranked the fourth place by sales among all automakers in Russia; Renault's market share was 8.3% against 7.6% a year before, according to AEB data. For the first seven months of 2016 sales of the brand in the Russian market were 61,173 vehicles, which is less by 8.7% than in the same period of the last year.

The bestseller of Renault in Russia remains Duster crossover - last month it was chosen by 3094 Russian buyers (+ 2%). Second place in the model range is occupied by Renault Logan sedan with 2501 sold cars (-32.1%). The top-three of best-sellers of brand is closed by hatchback Sandero - 2054 of these vehicles (-31.7%) were sold in July.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", sales of the new all-wheel drive crossover Renault Kaptur at the end of the last month were 1419 vehicles. It is worth noting that it is three times more compared to June, when the novelty has entered the Russian market.
