OREANDA-NEWS. For the first seven months of 2016 Ford Transit maintains its leadership in the class of light commercial vehicles among models of foreign brands in Russia. Total sales of Ford Transit in Russia were 2722 units, which is more by 85% compared to the same period of the last year. At the same time growth of sales of Ford Transit in July was 37%, informed the press service of Ford Sollers.

As it was noted, the success of the Ford Transit in the Russian market is provided by the offered by Ford Sollers broad line of available modifications of the model, including specialized vehicles, designed to meet the needs of Russian customers, thanks to which the company has entered into new commercial vehicle segments.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", in I half of 2016 as part of realization of project to create a new network of specialized dealerships for sales and after-sales service of light commercial vehicles and special vehicles based on Ford cars the company Ford Sollers has granted the status of Transit-center for 50 dealerships in 28 cities across Russia - from Arkhangelsk to Krasnodar and from St. Petersburg to Khabarovsk. Full-scale network of specialized Transit-centers allow them to offer customers a new level of service, both in sales and in the field of after-sales service and it will strengthen the position of Ford Sollers in the LCV market.
