OREANDA-NEWS. Russian dealers of Skoda sold 4796 cars in July – more by 11.6% than the year before. Thus, the Czech brand demonstrates a positive trend the fifth month in a row, informed the press service of Skoda in Russia. For the first seven months of 2016 Skoda sales in the Russian market were 31,686 vehicles, which is less by 1.7% than in the same period of the last year, noted the analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT".

The best-seller of Skoda in the Russian market in July is a compact liftback Rapid, whose sales rose by 17.1% up to 2225 units. Second place went to Octavia - this model was chosen by 1880 customers (+ 7.7%). The top-three of leaders is closed by Yeti crossover with 488 sold cars. It should be also noted that since the start of sales of a new Skoda Superb in the Russian market in October of 2015 it was sold 1224 cars.
