OREANDA-NEWS. Company of Chery, despite the absence of its own assembly facilities in Russia, will continue to work on the deep localization of production. In an interview with the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" it was announced by the President and CEO of Chery Automobile Co. The strategic partner Chery will remain Derways plant.

According to Yin Tunyao, at the project launch in 2014, the level of localization of Chery in Derways was only 25 - 27%, including a welding and painting. "At the moment, when in Russia it was changed the method for calculating of the localization, it is difficult to say what we have the level", - he said.
