OREANDA-NEWS.  St. Petersburg plant Toyota stops the production in connection with the traditional collective vacation. The agency "AUTOSTAT" was informed by the press service of the company, it was noted that, as in previous years, the holiday will last for two weeks - from August 1st to 14th, 2016.

Meanwhile, in August at the "Toyota Motor" plant in St. Petersburg will start the production of the second model - a crossover Toyota RAV4 of current generation, which will be delivered to the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. Investment in the project of the production capacity expanding and the preparation for the launch of Toyota RAV4 to date was 7.1 billion rubles. Total investment in the company reached 18.2 billion rubles.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", the St. Petersburg plant Toyota produced 16279 cars Toyota Camry for the I half – it is less by 8.8% than a year before.
