OREANDA-NEWS. Russia-based diamond mining group, ALROSA, has become a partner of the GeneratorS 2016 which encourages innovation in Russia and Eastern Europe. GenerationS, organised by the Russian Venture Company (RVC), accelerates technology startups in Russia and Eastern Europe and is part of Russia’s efforts to build its own national innovation system, reported australianmining.com.au.

ALROSA will support the Mining & Metals track of the program that combines a wide range of refining technology, processing of precious metals, diamond mining, and smart investment by the world’s industry leaders.

Within the track, startups from the diamond mining, metallurgy and related industries will be able to make proposals, presentations or attract investment or sales in areas typically difficult or closed to these junior companies.
