OREANDA-NEWS. For the first half of 2016 St. Petersburg plant Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota have produced 129 700 passenger cars, which is less by 15% than in the same period of the last year, informed “Auto-Dealer-SPb".

It is also noted that June was the best month this year in terms of volume and dynamics of production of cars. The assembly lines produced 26,800 vehicles, which is less only by 3% than in June of 2015.

At the end of six months 75% of the total production volume of cars in St. Petersburg belonged to Hyundai plant. The number of produced cars at Nissan and Toyota for the same period was almost equal.

The share of St. Petersburg automobile industry with respect to the all-Russian production volume of cars continues to grow. During the first half of the year it was 24.2% (in the last year - 22.6%). And by the results of only one June, it has reached 26%.
