OREANDA-NEWS. The new crossover Nissan Murano, the production of which was launched on June 21st at the plant in St. Petersburg, will be on sale in early September. Besides Russia, the sales of Nissan's flagship model will start in the markets of Kazakhstan and Belarus, informed the press service of the Japanese company.

For Russian buyers of Nissan Murano it will be offered a choice of two power aggregates: a petrol 3.5-liter (249 hp, 325 Nm), or a hybrid, combining a 2.5-liter petrol engine with a compressor (254 hp, 368 Nm) and electric motor with a power of 15 kW. The hybrid version of the X-Tronic transmission is complemented with intelligent dual-clutch system that permits to connect automatically the motor in the appropriate modes.

For all configurations (there are four of them) it is available a system of intelligent all-wheel drive Nissan All Mode 4X4-i. 1st.
