OREANDA-NEWS. On the eve of the 50th anniversary of AvtoVAZ, July 16th 2016, it was a unique event at the car plant - the Open Day, during which anyone could visit the line of body welding and assembly of automobiles, press shop and production of engines. AVTOVAZ was visited by 55 thousand guests from different cities of Russia (last year at the Open Day it was visited by about 20 thousand people), the press-service of the enterprise.

The guests were welcomed by President of JSC "AVTOVAZ" Nicolas Moore: "For 50 years, AVTOVAZ remains the leader of the Russian automotive industry. The legendary "Zhiguli" became really popular car, it has a good reputation also outside the country. Today, LADA follows these values .
