OREANDA-NEWS. Ford Sollers Company sold more than 20,600 Ford cars for the first half, which is more by 56% compared to the same period of the last year. The volume of sales was about 3,700 vehicles in June, informed the press service of Ford Sollers.

The main drivers of growth were the new Ford Transit, Ford Kuga crossover, the new Mondeo and Focus, which demonstrated the fastest sales growth. Sales of the new generation of Ford Transit grew by 98%, crossover Ford Kuga - by 73%, while the sales growth of model in June was 38% in compare with May. The interest of buyers to the off-road line also led to the growth in sales of the new Ford EcoSport and Ford Explorer in June compared to May results by 10% and by 8%, respectively.

The new Ford Mondeo has demonstrated in the first half of 2016 the sales growth by 21%, the new Ford Focus – by 14%, and the SUV Ford Explorer – by 7%.

Significant contribution to the growth of sales in the first half of 2016 was made by a new model of Ford Fiesta which was launched to the market in June of the last year.
