OREANDA-NEWS. From August 1st, 2016 Jan Ptacek will be appointed as the Executive Vice President of AvtoVAZ by sales and marketing, which was vacant since December of 2015. Vitaly Osipov, who was acting within the framework of this position, will be the director of sales of AvtoVAZ, informed the press service of the company.

Jan Ptacek (47 years) graduated from the Prague Technical University and he received additional education at the University of Ecole des Mines in Paris and two other Paris universities. More than 20 years he is working in the Renault group. Throughout his professional career he held senior positions in sales and marketing of the Group in the Czech Republic, France, Russia, and Romania. In particular, Mr. Ptacek was responsible for the launch of Dacia brand in Western Europe and the global launch Renault Logan. He currently holds the position of Managing Director of Sales in Dacia-Renault-Nissan in Romania.
