AvtoVAZ has stopped the sale of LADA XRAY with 110-horsepower Nissan engine

OREANDA-NEWS. AvtoVAZ has stopped the sale of LADA XRAY with 110-horsepower Nissan engine - this version of High hatchback is no longer available for order.

As the portal "Kolesa.ru" informed, on the official website of the brand there is no version of LADA XRAY with an engine capacity of 1.6 liters and 110 hp. The hatchback can be bought either with the 106-horsepower 1.6-liter engine together with mechanics, or with the top 122-strong volume of 1.8 liters, which is aggregated with automated manual transmission.

Earlier, AVTOVAZ warned its dealers on the discontinuation of the modification with the 110-horsepower engine. The fact is that the manufacturer is interested in the increasing of degree of localization of the vehicle. Currently, the level of localization of Nissan motor is about 60%, in the 2017th AVTOVAZ plans to increase it to 80%. Perhaps, then, it will be considered the issue of returning it to the engine range of LADA XRAY.
