OREANDA-NEWS. JSC Khiagda and municipal entity Bauntovsky Evenkiysky District entered into agreement on providing sustainable socioeconomic development of Bauntovsky Evenkiysky District of the Republic of Buryatia.  

The document was signed by Alexander Glotov, Director General of uranium extracting enterprise JSC Khiagda, and Nikolay Kovalev, the district head, in the district center – the village of Bagdarin. According to the agreement, the authorities of Bauntovsky Evenkiysky District undertook an obligation to assist the subsoil user in realization of investment programs. JSC Khiagda plans assistance in bringing district development projects into life.

Here families of many of our employees live, children grow up, they may come to work for our enterprise in future, and because of that social responsibility is one of the components of the company’s activities. ARMZ has come to Bauntovsky Evenkiysky District in earnest and for long. It is exactly here that a modern center of Russian uranium extraction is formed for providing nuclear and energy security of our Motherland”,  Alexander Glotov emphasized.

The first projects have already been determined. The uranium extracting enterprise also assists in training professionals in the Bauntovsky subsidiary of the Ulan-Ude Engineering and Pedagogical College.
