OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the secondary market of components for passenger cars in Russia and it has defined its basic parameters. According to the study, the total volume of the secondary market of automotive components and spare parts in Russia in 2015 was 953 million units of various parts. At the same time in terms of money the market volume has reached the amount equivalent to $ 19 billion, which is 1.16 trillion rubles.

In the secondary market of components and parts in the top-three of leaders there are traditionally three segments: suspension parts, tires and oil. Last year, the market capacity of suspension parts was estimated at more than 121 billion rubles. We should note that it is equal to 10.5% of the total market size of components in the financial year.
