UAZ sold 3107 vehicles in the Russian market in May

OREANDA-NEWS. Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant sold 3107 vehicles in the Russian market in May, more by 19.4% than a year ago. For the first five months of 2016 Russian dealers of UAZ sold 16602 cars - more by 8.5% than in the same period of the last year. As a result, the market share of UAZ reached 3.0% against 2.4% a year before, according to AEB data.

As PR-manager of UAZ, Ekaterina Kalinskaya informed the agency "AUTOSTAT”, 2016 at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has started quite active: SUV UAZ "Hunter" came back on the conveyor, it was started the production of updated classic commercial vehicles UAZ, it began the active promotion of the model UAZ "Cargo". Due to the state program of utilization it was sold about 70% of UAZ vehicles.
