Thus, according to the results of the research made by agency experts, during this time the weighted average price of a new car in our country has increased 3 times. If in 2006 the figure was around 450 thousand Rubles, then now it is 1.36 million rubles.

The most expensive in the Russian market are foreign cars; the average cost of them has already exceeded 1.5 million rubles, while 10 years ago it was little more than 600 thousand Rubles. But domestic cars remain the most accessible – at the present time their weighted average price is 570 thousand rubles. At the same time in 2006 it was only a little over 200 thousand Rubles.
