OREANDA-NEWS. According to a survey, conducted by the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", sales of novelties of AVTOVAZ - LADA Vesta sedan and high hatchback LADA XRAY – for the first time this year decreased compared to the previous month, and before it they have increased every month.

So, in May, sales of LADA Vesta were 3752 units, while in April it reached 4821 units, which is a record since the launch in November of 2015. The same thing happened with the LADA XRAY, which sold 1608cars, and in April it also set a sales record (2184 units), since February of 2016, when it made its debut on the market. Analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" noted that the May decline in sales volumes of VAZ novelties may be caused by seasonal decline in consumer activity due to the greater number of public holidays than in other months.
