OREANDA-NEWS. Peter Hill, Honeywell Transportation Systems vice president for Marketing and Product Management Solutions, has been selected as an automotive industry 2016 Rising Star by Automotive News Europe.

Peter was among 15 individuals recognized as a Rising Star from the automotive industry in this prestigious annual award process. According to Automotive News' criteria, a Rising Star exhibits a pan-European profile in driving change, fostering innovation and making courageous decisions. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of work experience, multiple language skills and be 45 or younger when nominated to qualify.  Peter's Rising Stars co-recipients are from leading automotive companies like Nissan, Ferrari, FCA, Toyota and ZF TRW. This award is also the recognition of Honeywell Transportation Systems as a key industry contributor energized by highly talented people. 

According to Automotive News Europe Editor Luca Ciferri, the selected executives have distinguished themselves as highly motivated, highly capable leaders who are expected to continue their fast and steady climb within their organizations and within the industry. 

Peter has an impressive international career and has worked tirelessly for the success of the automotive industry. He began with a student internship with Ford Motor Company working on safety systems for minibuses. After finishing his studies in 1996, he joined Honeywell Turbo Technologies as the European logistics manager beginning what has become a 20-year career with Honeywell.
