OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Hyundai dealers in May sold 10603 cars – less by 22.1% than a year earlier. In the first five months of 2016 sales were 52,333 cars of the brand, which is also less by 22.1% than the same period of the last year.

As the press-service of "Hyundai Motor CIS" informed, the best-selling of brand is Hyundai Solaris - last month the most popular foreign car was chosen by 7627 buyers in Russia, which is less by 28.4% than a year ago. Second place in terms of sales is kept by the compact crossover Hyundai Tucson, which was sold in the amount of 1 196 units. This figure is more by 8% than in the previous month and it is the best since the start of sales of the model in November of 2015. The top-three of leaders is still closed by Elantra sedan with an indicator of 568 cars.

We also add that the sales of a full-size crossover Santa Fe Premium car were 424 units in May. Premium sedan Genesis goes traditionally to the high sales figures – in the last month it found 67 Russian buyers.
