OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the market of new cars in Russia for the first four months of 2016 and it made a rating of the best-selling models with automatic transmission.

According to the study, the leader of the rating is Hyundai Solaris. Sales of "Solaris", equipped with "automatic" transmission, for the reporting period were 18.5 thousand units – less by 4.5% than a year before. In the second place there is another Korean bestseller - KIA Rio, the result of which, on the contrary, grew by 27% to 13.1 thousand cars. The third position is occupied by Toyota RAV4 crossover, whose sales in the version with automatic transmission reached 10.3 thousand sold units (+ 57%).

In the fourth place there is another representative of Toyota - a business sedan Camry (8 thousand units; -18%.). The top-five of leaders of sales of cars with "automatic" transmission is closed by sedan Volkswagen Polo (6,9 thous. units; + 74%). The top-10 of the Russian market of new passenger cars equipped with automatic transmission, in January - April of 2016, also included: Nissan X-Trail (4,9 thousand units; + 20%.), Nissan Qashqai (4,6 thousand units;.. + 35%), KIA Sportage (4,5 thousand units; -6%), Skoda Octavia (4,4 thousand units; + 6.5%) and the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 (4.3 thousand units; + 43%).

We also note that for the first four months of 2016 sales of passenger cars with automatic transmission in our country were about 211 thousand units (-10%), which corresponds to the share of 52%. At the same time, this figure was 48% a year ago.
