OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the Russian market of new cars in January - April 2016. By the results of the study it was made a rating of the largest regional markets.

For four months of this year the market of new cars in Russia was 381 thousand units, by showing a fall of 1.2% compared to the same period of 2015. Leading positions are traditionally occupied by Moscow and Moscow region, the share of which in total was a quarter of the Russian market. Capital market for this period showed a slight decline (-0.4% to 67.5 thousand units), and the Moscow Region, on the contrary, showed a slight increase (+ 1.4% to 30.1 thousand units). The third line of the rating belongs to St. Petersburg - sale in St. Petersburg increased by 17.2% and it was 26.5 thousand cars.

Among the non-capital subjects of the RF in January - April 2016 the leader is Tatarstan (17.1 thousand units; + 3.9%), which is in the fourth place in the overall standings. The top-five of leaders included Krasnodar region (14.1 thousand units; + 6%). The top-10 also included: Samara Region (13.3 thousand units; -1.4%), Bashkortostan region (12.3 thousand units; +4%), Rostov region (10.3 thousand units; -0.2%), Nizhny Novgorod region (9.5 thousand units; + 3.7%) and Sverdlovsk region (9.4 thousand units; -9.6%).
