OREANDA-NEWS. Russian dealers Bentley started to take orders for a new line of Continental GT Speed, the world premiere of which took place in New York. The model range of 2017 includes four updated versions: GT Speed, GT Speed Convertible, GT Speed Black Edition and GT Speed Convertible Black Edition.

Maximum GT Speed speed is 331 km / h. The new GT Speed, which is equipped with a W12 engine with a displacement of 6.0 liters and a twin-turbo, has now a capacity of 642 hp instead of the former 635 and the torque was increased by 20 Nm and it reaches 840 Nm. The maximum torque is made by the engine between 2,000 and 5,000 rev / min. These features provide the improved dynamics: acceleration up to 100 km / h takes only 4.1 s.

In addition to the updated Continental GT Speed, Bentley shows a special version of the Continental GT Speed Black Edition. The specification is available both as for the coupe, so for convertible. Exterior of model is complemented by a glossy black finish of chrome elements, including the scope of the door glass and edging headlights. In addition, a front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser in this version can be painted in one of four contrasting colors for the choice of the buyer: Hallmark, Beluga, St. James' Red and a new shade, Cyber Yellow. Also, customers can choose the finish of the case of exterior side mirrors to match the rest of contrasting elements. Brake calipers, located behind the black 21-inch five-spoke wheels, can be painted in black or red.

As for the interior of Continental GT Speed Black Edition, instrument panel, center console and the ceiling are decorated with elements made of carbon fiber. At the same time corporate color of version Black Edition provides the seat trims and center console with the leather in contrasting color - Porpoise, Beluga, Pillar Box Red or the new Cyber Yellow to match the striking exterior accents. The contrast stitching of matching color underlines the diamond-shaped stitching of door and seats of Mulliner GT Design.
