OREANDA-NEWS. Analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the market of new cars in the Ural Federal District by the results of April 2016 and it made a rating of the most popular models.

According to the study, there was a change of leader in the Urals market. Now it was LADA Granta, the rate of which in April was 576 cars - less by 13.9% than the result of a year ago. In turn, the former leader - KIA Rio - dropped to the second place of ranking with a score of 524 units (-11.2%). The third position is occupied by Hyundai Solaris with 493 units (-23.5%). The top-five of leaders is closed by the Renault Duster crossover (368 units; + 9.5%) and the novelty of AvtoVAZ - sedan LADA Vesta (314 units). The Top-10 of UFD market in April also included: Toyota RAV4 (299 units; + 43%), Volkswagen Polo (279 units; + 25,7%), Chevrolet Niva (258 units; + 4.9%) , LADA 4x4 (228 units; -23.2%) and Renault Sandero (223 units; + 20.5%).

We also note that the market of new passenger cars in the Urals in the last month was almost 8.3 thousand units, which is less by 8.2% than a year ago.
