OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" has conducted the market research of new cars in the North Caucasus Federal District by the results of April 2016 and it was made a rating of the most popular models.

The leader here became LADA Priora once again, the rate of which in April was 836 cars – less by 12% than the year-ago result. In the second place there is LADA Granta, the market volume of which rose by 14% to 737 units. The top-three of leaders included at first the novelty of AvtoVAZ - LADA Vesta, which was sold in amount of 336 units in the last month. In turn, the fourth position in the ranking of the best-selling foreign car in the North Caucasus was occupied by Toyota Camry (296 units; + 5.3%). Hyundai Solaris closed the top-five of leaders, which proved was in demand in the amount of 285 cars (-10.9%). The top-10 of NCFD market in April also included: LADA 4x4 (164 units; + 19,7%), Volkswagen Polo (150 units; + 14,5%), KIA Rio (96 units; 33.3 %), LADA XRAY (83 units) and LADA Largus (73 units; + 23.7%).

We also note that the market of new passenger cars in the North Caucasus Federal District in the last month was 4.1 thousand units, which is more by 4.2% than a year ago.
