OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the market of new cars by the end of April of 2016 and it made a rating of the most popular SUVs and crossovers in Moscow.

According to the study, in the SUV segment of the capital market in April it was replaced the leader. Now it is a crossover Renault Duster, which reached 494 cars – less by 3% than the result of a year ago. The second place went to Nissan X-Trail with 472 sold units, which is more by 15.7% than the year before. In turn, the former leader - Toyota RAV4 - dropped to the third place of ranking with a score of 405 units (+ 27.4%).

The top-five among the top-selling SUVs and crossovers in the capital was closed by Nissan Qashqai (401 units; +254.9%) and KIA Sportage (336 units; -12.5%). The TOP-10 of Moscow SUV market in April also included: Lexus NX (265 units; +18,3%), Mazda CX-5 (194 units; -35,3%), Hyundai Tucson (191 units), KIA Sorento (188 units; +27.9%) and Mitsubishi Outlander (188 units; +58%).
