OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" by the results of April of 2016 conducted a study of the market of new passenger cars in the Far Eastern Federal District and it made a rating of the most popular models.

The leader here is once again Toyota RAV4 crossover, whose figure in the last month was 119 cars – more by 89% than the year-ago result. In the second place there is the SUV Toyota Land Cruiser, the market volume of which has grown by half to 103 units. The third place of ranking is shared by just two SUVs - LADA 4x4 and the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (76 units, each), but if the domestic brand shows a decline (-15.6%), the Japanese one shows the growth (+ 52%). The top-five of leaders is closed by the UAZ "Patriot", which has sold 72 units (+ 22%). The top-10 of Far East FD market in April also included: Lexus NX (49 units; + 69%), Nissan Terrano (37 units; + 5,7%), Lexus LX (35 units; + 29.6%), Nissan Almera (34 units; + 25.9%) and Nissan Qashqai (31 units; + 158.3%).

We also note that the market volume of new passenger cars in the Far Eastern Federal District for the second spring month was 1178 units, by showing a slight increase (+ 1.2%).
