OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" has conducted market research of new cars in Moscow at the end of April of 2016 and it made a rating of the most popular models.

According to a study, in April in the capital market the leader has changed. Now it was KIA Rio, which reached 1150 cars – more by 47.6% than the year-ago result. In turn, the former leader - Hyundai Solaris - dropped to the second place of ranking with a score of 1,095 units (-17.8%). The third position is occupied by Skoda Octavia with 637 cars (+ 16.5%). The top-five of leaders is closed by the Volkswagen Polo (581 units; + 8.4%) and KIA Cee'd (553 units; + 36.2%). The top-10 of the capital market in April also included: Renault Duster (494 units; -3%), Skoda Rapid (486 units; + 6,4%), Toyota Camry (485 units; + 6.4%) , Nissan X-Trail (472 units; + 15.7%) and Toyota RAV4 (405 units; + 27.4%).

We should note also that the volume of the capital market in the last month was almost 19 thousand units, which is less by 7.7% than a year ago.
