OREANDA-NEWS. Production of trucks was 37.9 thousand units in January-April - more by 10% than the year before. Last month, the Russian assembly lines produced 12.1 thousand trucks, which correspond to the level of the last year (-0.2%).

It should be noted that KAMAZ began the production of dump trucks of the new model line KAMAZ-6580 and KAMAZ-65802. Meanwhile, due to the continued decline in demand for commercial vehicles in Russia, KAMAZ extended the four production mode in April, which was introduced previously.

Bus production in Russia decreased by 3.7% for the four months of 2016 to 9.3 thousand units. In April bus plants produced about 3.3 thousand vehicles - more by 7.6% than the year before.
