OREANDA-NEWS. According to Rosstat, for four months of 2016 the Russian assembly lines produced 345,000 cars – less by 25.1% than in the same period of the last year. Meanwhile, it was produced 96 thousand cars in April, which is less by 21.7% than a year ago.

It is worth noting that AVTOVAZ since April translated the assembly line of LADA Kalina and Priora on a three-day operation in accordance with orders received from the dealer network.

With regard to the assembly of foreign cars, Moscow Renault plant launched the serial production of the new crossover Renault Kaptur. Kaluga Volkswagen from April to September introduced the working weekend in connection with the planning of additional production volumes. The conveyor of engine plant Volkswagen produced the 50,000th engine since the start of production in September of last year. And Ford Sollers Vsevolozhsk plant began to equip cars Ford Focus with engines of the Russian manufacture. In addition, the assembly line of enterprise Ford Sollers in Naberezhnye Chelny produced the 10,000th Ford Fiesta since the start of production of the model in June of 2015.
