OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the Russian market of cars with a mileage in the first quarter of 2016, by the results of which it was made a rating of the largest regional markets.

According to a study, in January - March of this year the volume of the secondary car market in Russia was 1.12 million units, by showing an increase of 6.1% over the same period of the last year (1.05 million units). Leading positions are occupied traditionally by Moscow and Moscow region, the total share of which reached almost 13%. Capital market for this period showed an increase of 7.3% (up to 77 thousand units), and the Moscow region - by 12.2% (65.5 thousand units). The third line of the rating, with a share of less than 5%, is belonged to the Krasnodar region, sales in which rose by 2.5% and they were 51.4 thousand cars with mileage.

In St. Petersburg, the volume of the secondary market grew by 16.4% (up to 41.5 thousand units), which secured the fourth position. The five leaders included Rostov region (34.3 thousand units; + 7.1%). In sixth place there is Sverdlovsk region (33.5 thousand units; + 4.6%). The top-ten also included: Bashkortostan (28.8 thousand units; + 9.5%), Chelyabinsk region (28.1 thousand units; + 11.6%), Tatarstan (27.3 thousand units, + 19.2%) and Novosibirsk region (26.6 thousand units; -4.2%).
