OREANDA-NEWS.The conveyor of Continental tire plant in Kaluga produced the four millionth tire. As the press-service of company informed, we achieved such a mark already in 2.5 years from the date of the official opening of the company. At the end of 2016 the company plans to increase the production by 50% compared to the result of 2015 and to reach full the production capacity.

Despite the current economic situation, Continental plant in Kaluga continues to increase the production and output. Every year since 2013, the amount of produced by the company tires is growing by 1 million units: only for three years of operation the company has managed to triple the production of Continental plant in Kaluga. So, at the end of 2015 it was produced 3 million tires since the opening of the plant, in May of 2016 the number has increased to 4 million, and at the year-end, the company plans to produce at the conveyor the 6 millionth tire.

Continental plant in Kaluga deliveries its output as to the Russian market, so abroad. In 2015, the export of tires began to markets in Europe, Scandinavia, the former Soviet Union and Asia. In 2016, it is continued the development of this direction - currently production is certified, which in the second half of the year will be delivered to the plant of automaker in China.
