OREANDA-NEWS. The modernized plant Ford Sollers Vsevolozhsk produced the 60,000th Ford Mondeo since the start of production in Russia in March of 2009. The production of vehicle marked the 15th anniversary of the model in the Russian market. Jubilee car was the vehicle of series Titanium white, equipped with a gasoline turbocharged EcoBoost 2,0L with a capacity of 199 hp combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Ford Mondeo of the new generation is produced at plant Ford Sollers in Vsevolozhsk by a full cycle technology and it is available to Russian buyers in the sedan, in one of four possible complete sets: Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium Plus. The model is equipped with the EcoBoost engine of 2,0 l with a capacity of 199 or 240 hp and engine capacity of 2.5 liters and 149 hp, certified for operation on the A-92, in combination with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Sales growth of Ford Mondeo in April was 76% in compare with March of 2016 and with respect to April 2015 - 71%. By the end of four months of 2016, Russian sales of the new Ford Mondeo grew by 78%.
