OREANDA-NEWS. The members of the Council to attract investment and improve the investment climate of the Kostroma region approved the project for the creation and expansion of production capacities of JSC "Kostroma car parts plant."

The purpose of the investment project – is the creation of additional production capacity of its own operating enterprise "Kostroma car parts plant." The total investment will be 2.2 bln. Rubles, informed the press office of the governor of the Kostroma region. As a result, the project will create over 300 new jobs. During the project implementation period from 2015 to 2024, the tax revenues to the regional budget will be about 700 mln. Rubles.

The plant produces pistons, piston rings, cylinder liners. The company is a key supplier of all existing automakers. Products are exported to more than 40 countries, the market share in Russia and the CIS – is more than 50%.
