OREANDA-NEWS. Chery Company within the Beijing Motor Show presented the updated lines Arrizo and Tiggo, and it also demonstrated the possibility of a brand, embodied in the concept car FV2030.

The line of cars Tiggo, presented by concern Chery at the auto show, includes crossovers: 3X Tiggo, Tiggo 3, Tiggo Tiggo 5 and 7. Cars Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 3x were shown for the first time. The expansion of this line is a response to the increasingly popular segment of the SUV.

Chery Tiggo 3X – is a compact crossover, which is based on platform B, will take the first place in the model range of Tiggo. The car will be equipped with 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 106 hp. Serial production of the model in China is scheduled for October of this year. In Russia, the model will appear on sale during 2017, in case of the continuing trend of strengthening of the ruble against foreign currencies, and it will be called Chery Tiggo 1.

World premiere of a crossover Chery Tiggo 3 was held in Beijing two years ago, and this year, Chery has presented a completely redesigned interior of crossover. The plans of representative of the brand Chery in Russia is to introduce the model to the Russian buyers until the end of 2016.

The crossover Tiggo 5 also has received an updated interior and the exterior design of the model was changed in 2015. The restyled version of the Chery Tiggo 5 will be available in all markets of presence of the brand Chery.

Chery Tiggo 7 – is the serial model, developed on the basis of a prototype concept car «TX», presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012. Tiggo 7 is equipped with a high-performance sports DDS control system, chassis, providing excellent handling as well as 1.5T engine, economical 6-speed manual transmission and an automatic CVT transmission. This model uses the latest body construction, which will provide a 5-star safety rating of C-NCAP.

Presented model range Arrizo includes three sedans: Arrizo 3 Sport, Arrizo 5 and new Arrizo 7. Cars are equipped with intelligent cloud-based multimedia communication system Cloudrive 2.0, which has improved features of playback of audio and video, it can connect to a wide range of devices and carriers that can act as content sources. Updated Arrizo 7 will be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine in conjunction with CVT. The car will be available for sale in the domestic market in October of this year. In the future, new Chery Arrizo 7 may appear in the Russian market.
