New GTA 5 Online Mode announced, next event and sale detailed
OREANDA-NEWS. May 04, 2016. Rockstar has announced a new multiplayer mode for Grand Theft Auto V's online component, detailed the next weeklong double XP event, and more.
The new GTA Online adversary mode is called "In and Out." Launching May 3, the mode is described as an "intense" version of Capture, in which attackers attempt to steal eight packages while a team "well-armed" defenders are tasked with stopping them.
No gameplay from this mode has been released yet.
In and Out will become the latest GTA Online mode that Rockstar has added to the game since launch. Before this, the most recent new one was Inch By Inch, which came to the game earlier this month.
As for the next GTA Online event, the "In and Out Week" promotion starts today, April 29, and runs through May 5. Throughout the event, players can earn double GTA\\$ and RP for participating in an adversary mode playlists. Modes like Hunting Pack and Hasta La Vista will be featured in this playlist on a rotating basis.

- Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30 - Adversary Mode Playlist 1 feat. Hunting Pack, Relay & Offense Defense
- Sunday, May 1 and Monday, May 2 - Adversary Mode Playlist 2 feat. Hasta La Vista, Every Bullet Counts & Keep the Pace
- Tuesday, May 3 through Thursday, May 5 - In and Out Playlist feat. all 3 maps of In and Out
Additionally, GTA Online's Ammu-Nation store is offering a sale on guns, explosives, and more. Below is a rundown of what's on sale.

In other news about GTA Online, documents in the Leslie Benzie vs. Take-Two lawsuit revealed that the multiplayer mode has already brought in more than \\$500 million in revenue from microtransactions.
Single-player DLC for GTA V is still under consideration, but the big numbers for GTA Online may explain why Rockstar might not be rushing to get it out the door anytime soon.
