OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ delivered 10 main truck tractors KAMAZ-5490 to the largest in Russia X5 Retail Group food retailer. Vehicles comply with environmental "Euro 5" standard and they are equipped with the automated manual transmission, thanks to which it was reduced fuel the consumption, increased engine life and reduced driver fatigue, informed the press service of KAMAZ. As noted, the company X5 Retail Group, whose retail chains and distribution centers of retailer are located in 53 Russian subjects in five federal districts, expands constantly its parc of trucks, which will soon be replenished for the first time with new tractors KAMAZ-5490.

 Bulk truck KAMAZ-5490 is designed for the Russian road and climatic conditions of use and it combines a high level of comfort and safety. The high fuel efficiency of tractors is provided by the engine Daimler OM-457 with power 401 hp, as well as hypoid axle Daimler HL6, cruise control. High security is guaranteed by the use of front and rear disc brakes, electro-pneumatic braking system (EBS) with Stability function (ESP) and traction control system (ASR), pneumatic rear suspension with the ECAS electronic control system, lighting with LED technology.
