OREANDA-NEWS. This year German company BMW plans to open in Russia new 3 - 4 dealerships. In an interview with the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" the Director of Corporate Communications of BMW Group Russia, Vasily Melnikov, said about it.

"The opening of the dealership - is a step for many decades ahead. There are cities where we see growth opportunities. There are cities where the partners vary: some closed, some, on the contrary, wants to develop... 

Another moment – it is a profitability. In terms of each dealership, it increased due to the different programs and our product line, "- said Mr. Melnikov.

Recall that recently, BMW has opened a new dealership "Kraft" in Yekaterinburg. Thus, according to the data of analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", in our country there are already 61 official dealers for the sale and maintenance of vehicles of the German brand.

We also note that by the results of the first quarter of 2016 it was sold in Russia 7.4 thousand BMW cars, which is less by 11% than in the same period of the last year.
