OREANDA-NEWS. Changan Company will bring to Russia the new version of CS35 crossover, which will go on sale in June. The agency "AUTOSTAT" was informed about it by the press service of the company of Changan, by adding that the new configuration CS35 1.6AT Comfort will cost 833,900 rubles. Currently, the crossover with an automatic transmission is only available in Luxe version with a price of 846 000 rubles. Price of Changan CS35 with manual transmission is from 730 thousand to 766 thousand rubles, depending on the equipment.

Recall that now in the Russian market there are three models Changan - compact crossover CS35, sedan of C-Class Eado and sedan of executive class Raeton. In the first quarter of 2016 Russian dealers of Changan sold 184 cars against 79 cars a year before.

Meanwhile, in the framework of the Beijing Motor Show Changan unveiled a flagship crossover CS95 and a number of other new products, but which of them may appear in Russia it was not decided yet. The new all-wheel drive crossover Changan CS95 is a fully independent development of Changan. The car will be equipped with 2-liter turbocharged engine, which is specially designed by the British division of experimental design bureau of the company. Dimensions of the new Changan CS95 are 5 m in length, more than 1.9 meters wide and about 1.8 meters in height, which can accommodate 7 passengers. The CS95 will use system of the latest interactive car control, called «in Call 5.0», which helps to control easy various vehicle functions from the multifunction displays to the mobile Internet and intelligent driver assistance systems by means of a contactless controller. 

Most of these functions have been implemented in a new unmanned business sedan Changan Raeton, which drove without a driver control from the city of Chongqing, where the headquarters of Changan Automobile is located, to the motor show in Beijing. Changan Corporation has become the second car manufacturer in the world and the first Chinese company, which implemented successfully such an extended unmanned running test drive under the control of specially developed multi-sensor information system.

In addition, Changan Company showed several SUV models. They were the new youth compact crossover CS15, sales of which began in April of this year, the restyled CS35, which received 1.5-liter 156-horsepower turbocharged engine and the seven-seat family CX70, which supplemented the popular in China series of low-budget crossover CX.

As one of the leaders in the development of hybrid and electric vehicles in China and in the world, the company Changan has demonstrated an electric sedan Eado EV, created on the basis of sedan Changan golf class, sales of which are carried also in Russia. The new model is equipped with a fully electric engine with a capacity of 122 hp, designed for 200 km in city mode on a single charge.
