Baku Higher Oil School joins anti-plagiarism programme
OREANDA-NEWS. According to the cooperation agreement signed with US-based Turnitin, the Baku Higher Oil School has started applying internet services related to detection and prevention of plagiarism. BHOS will apply advanced technologies to ensure the transparency of education process and take strong measures against the students, who resort to plagiarism. Resorting to plagiarism by the students in their scientific and academic work would entail negativity in their future activities. The application of services related to detection, prevention of plagiarism at BHOS would be significant for the students to carry out research works by independent and responsible means, and it would be very crucial for general progress of education. In fact, more than 15 000 educational institutions in 140 countries apply Turnitin’s internet services. Application of these services would give an impetus to BHOS to be amongst the world’s leading universities.
