OREANDA-NEWS. Mitsubishi Motors Corporation's (MMC) new ASX compact crossover featuring the "Dynamic Shield" front design concept will make its Asian debut at the 2016 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2016). MMC will also have on display a total of eight exhibits including six SUVs and other models.

The new ASX adopts MMC's "Dynamic Shield" front design concept that expresses function of protecting both occupants and vehicle while maintaining the powerful performance and excellent fuel economy of its previous version. Dynamic Shield, together with restyled 17-inch wheels, makes for a more athletic and energetic look. Domestic production and sales will begin this month.

Joining the ASX at the MMC booth will be the Outlander PHEV plug-in hybrid EV, which is classified by the Chinese government as a "New Energy Vehicle," and the New Outlander that went on sale in China in August 2015. Other exhibits include a special exhibition Lancer EX.
