OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the Russian market of new passenger cars in March of 2016 and it made a rating of the best-selling models in the Siberian Federal District.

According to the survey, the most popular models in the market of new cars in the SFD in the first month of spring was the Hyundai Solaris, which reached 311 units, which is less by 9.3% than in the same month of 2015. SUV Chevrolet Niva is quite a bit behind, which was sold in amount of 308 units (+ 9.2%) and it became eventually the Siberian market leader in the SUV segment in March. Third place went to KIA Rio, which sold 281 vehicles (+ 12.9%).

The top-five of leaders was closed by LADA Granta (254 units; -65.3%) and Toyota RAV4 (248 units; + 68.7%). The top-10 also includes: UAZ "Patriot" (224 units; + 5,2%), LADA Vesta (212 units), Renault Duster (208 units; + 52,9%), LADA 4x4 (186 units; -31.1%) and Toyota Camry (148 units; -10.8%).

In total, the volume of the Siberian market of new passenger cars in March was 5673 units, by showing a fall of 12%.
