1. Domestic Production

(1) March 2016

Mazda's total production volume in March 2016 increased 3.2% compared to March 2015 due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda3 (Axela):  18,303 units (up 7.7% year-on-year)
CX-3:  11,542 units (up 25.1% year-on-year)

(2) April 2015 through March 2016

Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from April 2015 through March 2016 increased 7.6% year-on-year due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda3 (Axela):  215,140 units (down 7.5% year-on-year)
CX-3: 142,800 units (up 765.2% year-on-year)

2. Overseas Production

(1) March 2016

Mazda's overseas production volume in March 2016 increased 16.1% compared to March 2015, reflecting increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda's total overseas production volume in the period from April 2015 through March 2016 increased 27.7% year-on-year, due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in March 2016 decreased 23.6% compared to March 2015 due to decreased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.2% (down 1.4 points year-on-year), with a 2.2% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.4 points year-on-year) and a 4.1 % total market share (down 0.9 points year-on-year).

Mazda3 (Axela): 3,088 units (down 18.0% year-on-year)
CX-5: 2,990 units (up 6.6% year-on-year)

(2) April 2015 through March 2016

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in the period from April 2015 through March 2016 increased 3.5% year-on-year, due to increased sales of passenger vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 6.1% (up 0.6 points year-on-year), with a 2.3% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.1 points year-on-year) and a 4.7% total market share (up 0.5 points year-on-year).
