OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2016. 23rd International Specialized Forum on Telecommunications, Information and Bank Technologies TIBO 2016 was held in Minsk, Belarus. IBA Group presented its solutions at the stand of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus and participated in the Smart Learning and Digital Banking conferences.

IBA Group specialists demonstrated the Automated Fare Collection (AFC) System and the traffic control system in operation. The data collected by the systems is transmitted to the central processing center where it is processed and then displayed in real time on the smart information board at stops.

Visitors of TIBO 2016 had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with self–service terminals, which allow customers to buy or return transport cards, as well as top up the balance using a bank card. In the near future, these terminals will be available to passengers in Minsk.

The program of the forum included the Digital Banking conference. IBA Group specialists analyzed technical and organizational challenges arising from the employment of the public key management systems of electronic digital signature (EDS) based on experience with government agencies, as well as proposed options for the use of EDS in the banking industry.

IBA Group also presented e–University (eUni), a software platform that supports online distant learning and provides a set of tools to organize and manage the learning process, create training courses, and ensure group communication.

At the joint Belarusian–German forum INDUSTRY 4.0. — Innovations in the Manufacturing Sector, IBA Group spoke on the readiness of Belarusian industrial enterprises for innovations in the field of information technology.

More than 100 companies from 18 countries participated in TIBO 2016.
