Austrian resumes services from Vienna to St Petersburg Pulkovo International Airport
OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2016. Austrian Airlines, the national carrier of Austria, resumes regular flights from Vienna to Saint Petersburg, Russia. Starting April 25, the airline will operate daily services throughout the summer season, utilizing Fokker 100 и Fokker 70 accommodating up to 105 and 80 passengers respectively.
The flight from Vienna to St Petersburg International Pulkovo Airport will take 2 hours 40 minutes, on the way back — 2 hours 50 minutes. Additional services are scheduled for the peak days in the summer.
Austrian Airlines is a long-time partner of Pulkovo Airport. In 2015, over 34,000 passengers chose Austrian to travel from Vienna to St Petersburg and back. In October of 2015, the airline suspended its operations on the route for the winter season.
