Tele2 connects to Mir payment system
OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has announced cooperation with the National System of Payment Cards (NSPK). Now subscribers may use Mir cards to pay for the company’s services.
The company has started accepting cards of the Mir payment system in 150 single-brand stores in Moscow and Moscow Region. Mir card holders will pay for Tele2 services by using terminals in the retail network. Tele2 has become the first among mobile operators who started accepting Mir cards in its stores. The service is also available at Tele2 stalls that are situated in the Pyaterochka retail chain in Moscow.
All subscribers will soon get an opportunity to use Mir cards for the payment of services at oplata.tele2.ru. Autopay users will also be able to pay for the services with this new tool. The subscriber only have to link his/her card to a phone number at My Tele2 and set a threshold amount – the account will be topped up when the sum drops to the limit.
