Qatar Stock Exchange and Injaz Qatar sign memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the fields of education, training and investment awareness
OREANDA-NEWS. Qatar Stock Exchange and Injaz Qatar today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote future cooperation between the two organizations.
The MoU was signed by Qatar Stock Exchange’s CEO, Rashid bin Ali Al-Mansoori, and H.E Sheikha Hanadi bint Nasser Althani – founder and chairperson of Injaz Qatar. The two parties have pledged to work together to collaborate in the fields of education, training and community development.
The MoU aims to allow youth and students to join training programs held by QSE in the field of investment and financial culture, taking into account that such courses help to educate students in terms of the importance of the securities market as well as the benefits and risks associated with the investment therein.
The MoU also encourages QSE experts to volunteer and provide educational awareness sessions during the events dedicated to school and university students which are organized by Injaz Qatar.
In a press conference held at QSE headquarters, H.E Sheikha Hanadi stated that Injaz Qatar is very pleased to partner with Qatar Stock Exchange during this period of exceptional growth and diversification of Qatar’s economy. She described the MoU as the first agreement that includes a comprehensive training program aiming to promote financial and investment awareness as well as the spirit of entrepreneurship among Qatari youth belonging to all professions and backgrounds.
“Injaz’s mission and vision revolves around the linking between educational outputs and the investment market, and since QSE is the cornerstone of the national investment market providing diversified investment opportunities; this MoU helps to enhance financial and investment culture among youth in order to achieve success and prosperity,” Sheikha Hanadi concluded.
Al-Mansoori welcomed the signing of the agreement as a basis for close cooperation with Injaz Qatar and stated that it comes within the framework of the role played by Qatar Stock Exchange in achieving Qatar National Vision 2030, adding that our responsibility focuses on the human and economic development pillars through educating the next generation of youth and building a prosperous society.
Al-Mansoori pointed out that this cooperation is a continuation and culmination of education and awareness efforts undertaken by QSE in the local community.
