Korean Air resumes Seoul (Incheon) — Saint Petersburg (Pulkovo) services
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 21, 2016, Korean Air has resumed flights between Saint Petersburg (Russia) and Seoul. The carrier will operate three weekly services from Incheon International Airport to Pulkovo International Airport throughout the summer season.
Travelers can catch a direct flight between Russia’s second largest city and the capital of South Korea on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. In April, May and October the airline will use A330-200 aircraft accommodating up to 218 passengers; in the summer months and September, A330-300 will be utilized, accommodating up to 276 passengers. All seats are equipped with AVOD entertainment system offering passengers hundreds of hours of media content, films, music albums, games, etc.
The aircraft will depart from Incheon International Airport at 5:55 pm and arrive to St Petersburg Pulkovo International Airport at 9:30 pm on the same day. Departure from Pulkovo for Incheon is scheduled to 11 pm, arrival time to Incheon— to 1:40 pm of the next day. The schedule is in local time
Korean Air is the only airline operating direct services from St Petersburg to Seoul. In 2015, the direct traffic on the route grew by 42% YOY to 31,200 passengers. In 2014, Korean Air won the LED Together award from Pulkovo Airport as the fastest growing carrier in the 10,000-50,000 passengers category, in St Petersburg market.
The airline operates scheduled flights to 148 cities in 46 countries worldwide. With the renewal of the Korean Air services to Pulkovo, passengers flying from St Petersburg can enjoy convenient connections at Incheon Airport to continue their flights to points in Southeast Asia and Oceania, including Sydney, Auckland, Guam, Nha Trang, as well as Hawaii and many other destinations.
